For such a time as this…

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations – Matt. 1:17

It’s so exciting to know we are standing on the beginning of something new.

A young generation who will stand up and take their place in history.

The next 14 years will belong to a new generation who will make their mark and take action to accomplish God’s purposes and plans for their lives. A generation who will stand up against “Goliath” in their nations. Young people who have served faithfully with no fear and many times unseen, undervalued and to young to be of importance. Young people who will rise without fear full of faith and courage that God will do exceedingly, abundantly, above all they can think, dream or imagine through the power of God at work within them. They will challenge the fear and failure of the previous generation.

The previous generations will try to train them in the old ways and would want them to fight “Goliath” with old and too big clothes but if we open our hearts and our ears to hear the Spirit of the Lord speaking we will know that this generations will use simple methods and will not act according to the old ways or traditions. Their weapons will be primitive and it would seem as if they enter this war zone without proper training or covering. But just as David, these young people will walk in faith and use the enemies weapons against him, in the same way David did with the sword of Goliath.

If we allow the young people to challenge “Goliath” in their own way, then they will have victory and it would be for the entire nation. We cannot mold and conform this generation to our ways and religious views. God was with them to face their own lions and bears and so He will be with them every step of the way in this new wave of liberation and transformation of our Nations.

Being a multiple of 7, 14 being double that number, implies a double measure of spiritual perfection.

Ishmael was fourteen when Isaac was born, or fourteen years older than Isaac – Gen.16,17

Maybe we made the same mistake as Abram by trying to “help” God to fulfill His promises and plans for our lives. And in so doing we also sit with a “Hagar and Ishmael”. We heard the word of God through “Hagar” and we raised this son, “Ishmael – God Hears” as our own and thought that God’s promises would be accomplished through this son. But God broke his silence after 13 years and said:

“I am El-Shaddai – ‘God Almighty.’ Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life. I will make a covenant with you, by which I will guarantee to give you countless descendants.

Just as Abram we can feel that we have worked so hard to raise this “son” and how can we start over again. Begin something new? We have used the best years of our lives to build this ministry, business etc. how can God change everything now. We thought it was time to retire and live a peaceful quiet live with a “son” we thought was well trained, but God is saying, NO!

We have to let go of the OLD and accept the NEW!

“At this, Abram fell face down on the ground. Then God said to him, “This is my covenant with you: I will make you the father of a multitude of nations! What’s more, I am changing your name. It will no longer be Abram – “Exalted Father”. Instead, you will be called Abraham – “father of many nations” – Gen.17:3-5

We can no longer be “Exalted Fathers” and build our own churches, congregations, kingdoms, businesses or ministries! It’s all about Nations and the Transformation of it. Raising up and supporting the Next Generation!

We cannot accept the laws that enslave our young people in tradition and religion! – Gal.4:21-31

Remember: “Isaac” means laughter and many people, friends, family, co-worker, leaders etc. will laugh at us for making such a drastic change. We might even feel the persecution of the religious system and traditions – all maintained by human effort! But God will accomplish His purposes and plans through this “New Generation” and so they need spiritual fathers and mothers to motivate, support and comfort them to follow God’s calling into business, government and education in the same way Esther, Daniel, Joseph and David did and ultimately walk and talk the way Jesus did – outside the walls, among all people, loving the lost until death!

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.
He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory. They will rebuild the ancient ruins, repairing cities destroyed long ago. They will revive them, though they have been deserted for many generations.
Foreigners will be your servants. They will feed your flocks and plow your fields and tend your vineyards. You will be called priests of the Lord, ministers of our God. You will feed on the treasures of the nations and boast in their riches. Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.
“For I, the Lord, love justice. I hate robbery and wrongdoing. I will faithfully reward my people for their suffering and make an everlasting covenant with themTheir descendants will be recognized and honored among the nations. Everyone will realize that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”
I am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom in his wedding suit
or a bride with her jewels. The Sovereign Lord will show his justice to the nations of the world. Everyone will praise him! His righteousness will be like a garden in early spring, with plants springing up everywhere – Is.61

“If you want to make peace with your enemy, you have to work with your enemy. Then he becomes your partner.”

What a wonderful honor it was to paint this painting of such an amazing leader!

First hours of the year 2000

As a team our international ministry felt to have a conference call with communion and prayer from where the sun rises until where it sets.

It was a prophetic prayer chain that started in Fiji and ended in Hawaii.

We were on Holiday in SA, but still living in Argentina.

When it was our turn to log-on and start praying for the Nations, God gave me an extra-ordinary vision. While we were praying as a team, I saw Hawaii as a Nation; in the form of a fisherman. Hawaii had a fishing-net in its hands and it was funny looking. Something I had never seen before. Only years later when we lived in Uganda (2007), when we stood on the banks of Victoria Lake I recognized the nets while fishermen were busy with their daily work. It was so profound when I saw these nets and I felt a powerful connection with God. I knew God was confirming and reminding me about the vision, 7 years ago, that early morning of the 1st of January 2000.

Hawaii was swinging this funny looking net in circles above its head, releasing it in the air and catching it again, just to release and catch it again. This was repeated about 5 to 7 times and then suddenly Hawaii released the net. I was watching as it traveled through the air and when it fell I stood amazed.

This is what the net looked like! (click on the link to see the net.)

It fell on top of the globe and started gliding to the bottom.  The net had three bottom ends that touched ground in 3 places;  Argentina, South-Africa and Australia. People came running and started to pull on these ends. As they pulled on the ends the net perfectly surrounded the whole globe. People from Argentina and Australia took their ends and fastened it to their boats; then they started rowing towards South Africa. When they arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, thousands of people came running to help pull on these three ends to bind them together and secure the net around the globe.
